I remember how quiet it felt in the beginning, the kind of quiet that makes you question yourself. I had days when I missed home so much it physically hurt. Days when I wondered if was brave or just crazy for believing, I could build a life somewhere, I barely knew how to speak. But I stayed.

I stayed because something inside me kept saying, you’re meant for more. More connection. More purpose. More life.

Starting over in a new country humbles you. It teaches you how to be strong when you don’t feel strong at all. It teaches you how to trust your heart when nothing feels familiar. And it teaches you how deeply we all need to feel seen, understood, and safe.

There were moments when I felt invisible. Moments when I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere. And in those moments, I made a quiet promise to myself: if I ever found my footing, I would help others feel less alone.

Now, as I turn 26, I carry that promise with me in everything I do.
